ReddyCPA LLC, a US-based firm specializing in tax and accounting services, seeks a skilled Payroll Analyst for its Financial District office in Hyderabad. This role supports monthly payroll account management with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong ADP payroll expertise, payroll notice handling experience, solid accounting knowledge, and excellent client communication skills. This is a client-facing role requiring direct interaction with US-based clients to resolve payroll matters and ensure smooth payroll operations.
Core Payroll Responsibilities
- Process multi-state and multi-country payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Validate payroll inputs including bonuses, deductions, commissions, reimbursements, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll reports with accounting and general ledger entries
- Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities
- Handle payroll audits and maintain accurate documentation
Client-Facing & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related client queries
- Communicate payroll issues, discrepancies, and resolutions clearly to clients
- Conduct client onboarding and payroll process walkthroughs
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness
- Explain payroll regulations and notices in clear business language
Payroll Notices & Compliance
- Research and resolve payroll tax notices from government agencies
- Coordinate with tax agencies and clients regarding payroll discrepancies
- Monitor compliance updates affecting payroll processing
Accounting & Analytical Skills
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Experience working with general ledger and financial reporting
- Analyze payroll variances and identify discrepancies
Systems & Technical Skill
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Run
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Quailfications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience
- Strong understanding of US payroll processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Work onsite at our Financial District office with timings from mid-shift/ swing shift during non-peak seasons; schedules extend for 2 weeks each during US tax peak season (Feb- Apr/ Sep-Oct).
