This role will help shape the next generation of experiences at PayPal impacting over 400+ million consumers and 30+ million merchants around the world by creating AI/ML foundations and capabilities that deliver a delightful and personalized shopping and checkout experience Job Description: Your way to impact: In this role you can make an impact by using your design expertise to collaboratively develop innovative ideas from conception to execution, with a focus on creating user-centric designs that prioritize usability and accessibility. Your day to day: In your day to day you will: Partner with cross-functional teams (design system, engineering, and product management) to deliver PayPal products and services using a customer-focused, iterative design process, contributing to planning, estimation, and expectation setting. Create high-quality design deliverables independently, managing work to meet product design goals and schedules. Leverage and enhance established design techniques, tools, and methodologies to create product design analyses and solutions, while also contributing to the adaptation and optimization of these resources. Fosters collaboration, drives design team excellence and may lead or mentor other designers. Rapidly prototype and iterate on user experiences, working closely with the team to craft user-centric solutions that integrate design and engineering effectively, prioritizing beauty and usability. What do you need to bring: 10+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise. Proficiency in core design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and expertise in design tools such as Figma. Demonstrated experience in motion design and visual storytelling. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to launch. A strong commitment to creating aesthetically pleasing, user-centric designs that prioritize usability and accessibility. Possesses a strong attention to detail and a drive for excellence in design. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-focused environment.
