Join **PayPal's Enterprise AMPS Team in China** as a **Machine Learning Engineer Intern** and contribute to cutting-edge AI and data-driven solutions that power PayPal's global fintech ecosystem. You will work alongside top-tier data scientists and engineers to fine-tune **Large Language Models (LLMs)**, develop **agentic AI applications**, and support high-impact business initiatives in **risk analysis, compliance, marketing, and product development**. Your expertise in **Python, Java, and deep learning** will directly influence PayPal's AI strategy in **China and beyond**. ### **Responsibilities:** 1. **LLM Fine-Tuning & Training** - Assist in finetuning **large-scale generative AI models (GPT, BERT, etc.)** for business-specific use cases (e.g., fraud detection, customer support automation). - Optimize **prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and model adaptation** for financial applications. - Benchmark and evaluate LLM performance on domain-specific datasets. 2. **Agentic AI Application Development** - Build and prototype **AI agents** that automate decision-making in areas like **transaction risk assessment, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance**. - Integrate **reinforcement learning (RL) and multi-agent systems** for dynamic business optimization. - Work with **LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen, CrewAI** to develop AI-driven workflows. 3. **Machine Learning & Data Science Support** - Develop and deploy machine learning models for **business growth, marketing analytics, and risk prediction**. - Work with **SQL, PySpark, or Hadoop** for large-scale data processing and analytics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI/ML solutions.
