Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payment Posting Specialist at Datamatics' Nashik location. The Payment Posting Specialist will be responsible for accurately posting and reconciling payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other parties. Daily tasks include analyzing remittance advice forms, ensuring correct payment application, addressing discrepancies, and collaborating with the billing and accounts department for any unresolved issues. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy and adherence to standard operating procedures to ensure financial compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills for posting payments and reconciling accounts
- Attention to detail and proficiency in accurately reviewing remittance advice forms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency in accounting systems, spreadsheets, and relevant software
- Basic knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, and payment procedures
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration between teams
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
- Prior experience in payment posting or medical billing is an advantage
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
