Role Description
We’re looking for a Payment Gateway Specialist to join our team, ensure seamless, secure, and innovative payment experiences for our customers. This is full time, on site role located in Gurgaon.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Payment gateway management: Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple gateways.
- Error resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve transaction failures quickly.
- New gateway partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and integrate new payment partners.
- Relationship management: Maintain strong ties with existing gateway providers.
- Internal projects: Lead and support payment-related initiatives across teams.
- Integration: Ensure smooth onboarding of new gateways into internal systems.
- Mandate deduction: Implement and optimize mandate-based auto-debit for renewals.
- Persistence improvement: Drive higher customer retention through mandate strategies.
- Bank-driven mandates: Collaborate with banks to streamline mandate processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for assessing transaction data and identifying discrepancies
- Expertise in Payment Card Processing, including gateways, settlements, and reconciliation
- Effective Communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in payment processing platforms and ERP software is advantageous
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in payment gateway operations or financial services is highly preferred
