Data Analyst Intern – BIN Sponsorship Program

As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll join the Contract Services team to support The Bank of Missouri's BIN Sponsorship program. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and financial/operational reporting. You'll work alongside experienced analysts, helping turn raw data into actionable insights that influence decision-making across departments. Responsibilities: - Analyze data and uncover trends using statistical methods and visualizations. - Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual tools to track key performance indicators. - Perform data quality checks and assist in resolving data accuracy issues. - Assist in compiling findings into reports and presentations for stakeholders. - Write scripts to automate data ingestion and preparation from internal and external sources. - Work with relational databases to integrate diverse data sets. - Learn and apply tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel in real-world data tasks. - Support data validation and collaborate with teams like Compliance, Operations, and Audit. Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Foundational knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization concepts. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to Python, SQL, or Tableau is a plus. - Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. - Effective communicator—both written and verbal. - Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn about data in the financial sector.
