I feel it is one of the best places to work because of the opportunity to grow, learn, and move your career along to improve yourself and help the company. I have been with the company for 23 years and I started in the mail room.
The current team I work on has a great positive, work as a true team culture. Also, some of the methodologies and technology we work on makes it a good place to take advantage of opportunities.
The management team here is really second to none, I have a very positive opinion of all the managers I have had in my group. That is way different than my prior companies and a big reason why I enjoy working here.

We rise to challenges because we love those and it comes with incredible support and passion in every team. Tech has a ton of respect here, from leadership to our newest member. We're agile, believe in best practices, adhere to smart methodologies and share information and resources freely.
What to expect working with us
We cross-train, shadow, and give autonomy so people feel empowered to learn and grow. Our tech leaders are also hands on in the work itself and care about people, for real. We'll post internal jobs first and try to limit reliance on contractors so we have more opportunity to take on new challenges. Tech may be the foundation of our success but its people's accomplishments that we celebrate.
There are great opportunities for growth. The work is interesting and challenging and there is an appreciated amount of respect for employees.
Paychex actually uses Agile and DevOps methodologies and not just paying lip-service to it and throwing around buzzwords.
We're far ahead of other IT firms with regards to innovation, automation, continuous delivery, and release pipelines. There is still a ton of opportunity to grow and the organization is willing to invest in training.
The leadership has a great mix of growing the company, taking care of customers, and caring for employees. I feel like employees have all the tools, opportunities, and motivation to succeed. The culture is off the charts excellent! If I was not at Paychex and I had heard about the culture, I would want to leave my job to come to Paychex.
