Key Responsibilities:

1. Fixed Asset Management (FAR & CAPEX)

Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) process, from budget approval to asset tagging and disposal.
FAR Maintenance: Ensure the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) is accurate and reconciled with the General Ledger.
Depreciation: Manage monthly depreciation runs and ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
Capital WIP: Monitor Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP) accounts and ensure timely capitalization of projects upon completion.

2. Inventory Control & Valuation

Material Management: Oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Physical Verification: Lead periodic physical stock takes and annual wall-to-wall audits, investigating and reconciling any variances.
Provisions: Calculate and maintain provisions for slow-moving, non-moving, or obsolete inventory.
Costing Support: Assist in standard cost maintenance and variance analysis (Price and Usage variances).

3. SAP Governance

Process Excellence: Utilize SAP (FI/CO and MM modules) to extract reports, perform reconciliations, and streamline financial workflows.
Internal Controls: Maintain robust internal controls over the inventory and fixed asset cycles to ensure audit readiness.

Candidate Profile

Experience: 4–5 years of core experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP (ERP) is mandatory. You should be comfortable navigating FICO and Material Management (MM) modules.
Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of Fixed Asset accounting (AS/IndAS) and inventory valuation principles.
Analytical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel for data triangulation and reporting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Inter-CA, Inter-CMA, or an MBA in Finance.
