<li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.</li>
<li>Prescribe and manage medications for mental and behavioral disorders.</li>
<li>Provide crisis response and medication assessments for clients.</li>
<li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.</li>
<li>Educate and consult with staff, clients, and families on treatment and medication.</li>
<li>Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EHR).</li>
<li>Option to practice psychotherapy alongside medication management.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Washington, DC.</li>
<li>Certification from a recognized body such as the American Nurses Association.</li>
<li>Unrestricted APRN license with prescriptive authority.</li>
<li>DEA and Controlled Substance licenses.</li>
<li>Must maintain own malpractice insurance.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Key Skills:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Proficient in DSM-5 diagnoses and therapeutic interventions.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.</li>
<li>Proficient in EHR systems, MS Word, Excel, and Google apps.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></div><ul>
<li>Experience consulting with primary care physicians.</li>
<li>Experience working with pediatric and adult mental health populations.</li>
