Job Description: Volumetric Assistant Operation Manager
Position Overview
The Volumetric Assistant Operation Manager supports the daily operational activities within the volumetric (logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing) division. This role assists the Operation Manager in ensuring efficient processes, compliance with safety regulations, and quality standards. The position is responsible for supervising teams, coordinating resources, monitoring operational metrics, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Operation Manager in executing daily operations and meeting productivity targets.
- Monitor volumetric workflows to optimize resource allocation, reduce waste, and enhance throughput.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within all operational areas.
- Supervise and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
- Address operational issues promptly and recommend corrective solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and process improvements.
- Assist in inventory control, quality checks, and the maintenance of equipment and materials.
- Contribute to budget planning and cost control measures.
- Support implementation of new technologies, tools, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement certifications.
- Experience with volumetric analysis tools or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements in the industry.
- Additional language skills.
