Role Description The Pattern Master will be responsible for translating design concepts into accurate patterns for activewear garments, ensuring optimal fit, comfort, and production feasibility. Day-to-day tasks include creating and modifying patterns, performing sample fittings, and making technical adjustments based on feedback from the design and production teams. The role involves coordinating with sampling, cutting, and stitching teams to ensure patterns are technically sound and ready for bulk production, as well as maintaining pattern records and size grading standards. The Pattern Master will also check garment construction details, troubleshoot fit or construction issues, and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in pattern making for apparel, preferably activewear or performance garments.
- Hands-on experience with size grading, fit corrections, and sample approvals.
- Ability to work closely with design, sampling, and production teams to align patterns with brand standards.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric behavior (especially stretch and performance fabrics), and cutting room practices.
- Familiarity with pattern-making software or CAD tools is highly beneficial.
- Attention to detail, strong technical judgment, and ability to maintain consistent quality across styles and sizes.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to document pattern changes and technical specifications clearly.
- Previous experience in an apparel manufacturing or fashion house environment; formal training in pattern making, fashion design, or garment technology is a plus.
