ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, on-site Pattern Maker/Pattern Master role based in Noida. You will work closely with the design team to translate creative concepts into technically accurate patterns that achieve exceptional fit, balance and construction.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing first patterns, conducting pattern revisions after fittings, collaborating with designers and sample makers to refine garments, and preparing production-ready patterns. The role also involves working with both manual pattern-making techniques and CAD tools, maintaining pattern libraries, documenting technical specifications, and ensuring a smooth handover to production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong pattern making and pattern development skills across women's western wear.
- Practical understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, and fit analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software for apparel pattern development.
- Sound knowledge of fabric behaviour, garment balance, construction techniques and size grading.
- Ability to interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and specification sheets with precision.
- Relevant qualification in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Apparel Production, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an apparel manufacturing or fashion design environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with design, sampling and production teams.
- Experience with structured garments, corsetry, or luxury womenswear will be considered an advantage.
