Patient Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Patient Support Specialist to support our Virtual Diagnostic Clinic, including the special partnerships we have with various provider types, ensuring the smooth coordination of designated testing days.
Key Responsibilities:
· Referral Management:
o Receive, collect, and organize incoming referral forms for assigned provider partners.
o Track and document client information to determine if Prior Authorization is required for evaluations.
· Scheduling & Coordination:
o Schedule clients for their designated testing days, ensuring all available time slots are filled.
o Accurately input and maintain schedules across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Outlook, Tebra, tracking tools and shared calendars.
o Handle all client and provider partner rescheduling requests and maintain up-to-date appointment records.
o Manage weekly prep for all diagnostic testing sessions.
· Communication & Relationship Management:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for provider partners and their designated contacts.
o Maintain and strengthen provider partnerships through clear, consistent, and professional communication.
o Relay all relevant client and scheduling information to provider partner contacts to ensure a smooth and efficient testing day.
· Client Communication:
o Send timely appointment reminders to clients prior to their scheduled evaluations.
o Provide support and information to families as needed regarding their appointments.
· Team Player:
o Provide support to other members of the Patient Support Team as time allows
