Job Description:
We are seeking a Patient Registration & Scheduling Associate to handle end-to-end patient intake and appointment coordination for US healthcare clients. The role involves capturing accurate patient and insurance information, verifying eligibility, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
· Collect and update patient demographics, insurance details, and required documentation in the EMR/EHR system.
· Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and prior authorizations.
· Inform patients about copays, deductibles, and financial policies; collect copayments when required.
· Handle inbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on provider availability.
· Assign appropriate appointment types and ensure correct provider, specialty, and location selection.
· Provide appointment instructions and send confirmations/reminders via call, text, or email.
· Manage waitlists, fill cancellations, and escalate urgent scheduling needs.
· Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA and compliance adherence.
Requirements
· US Healthcare RCM voice process experience is mandatory.
· Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) preferred; knowledge of multiple EHR/EMR systems is an advantage.
· Strong communication skills, high accuracy in data entry, and ability to handle high call volumes.
· Willingness to work from office only and in US shifts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Patient Registration processes and accuracy in data handling
- Strong Phone Etiquette and effective Communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare providers
- Excellent Customer Service skills to ensure a positive experience for patients
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in US healthcare administration or a related field is an advantage
- Proficiency in using basic computer systems and healthcare-related software is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare-related fields are preferred
