Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Mumbai (1 post each) for Patient Navigators working in Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Patient Navigators will guide patients and their caregivers through the complex landscape of healthcare services and coordinate care between patients and healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include educating patients about their health options, assisting with access to care and resources, resolving barriers that affect healthcare delivery, conducting outreach activities, and providing emotional and informational support to patients and families. The role involves close collaboration with health providers and community organizations to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to guide and support patients and their caregivers effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, patient advocacy, and experience navigating medical and support services.
- Organizational skills to manage case documentation and maintain efficient communication between multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and at least one additional common Indian language is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative healthcare team environment.
- Preferred background in health sciences, public health, healthcare administration, or social work.
- Familiarity with regional healthcare policies and patient rights is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient-centered mindset to assist individuals with empathy and understanding.
