Job Summary
The Patient Care Executive is responsible for handling patient interactions, appointment coordination, billing support, and ensuring a smooth patient experience at the diagnostic center. The role requires strong communication skills, patient handling abilities, and coordination with internal departments to maintain quality service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and attendants at the diagnostic center.
- Handle patient registrations and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Schedule appointments for scans, consultations, and diagnostic services.
- Explain basic diagnostic procedures, preparation instructions, and billing details to patients.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
- Manage billing, payment collections, and invoice generation.
- Attend patient queries, complaints, and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure proper follow-up for reports, appointments, and pending cases.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Support daily operational activities and maintain service quality standards.
- Ensure waiting area and front office activities are managed professionally.
- Follow company policies, NABL/NABH guidelines, and compliance procedures.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and billing software handling.
- Ability to manage patients politely and professionally.
- Strong coordination and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of diagnostic center operations is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma.
- Experience in hospitals, clinics, or diagnostic centers preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.
