📢 We’re Hiring | Patient Care Counsellor – Eye Care Hospital
🏥 Hospital: Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital
📍 Location: Meerut
💼 Role: Patient Care Counsellor
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Counsellor to join our team and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
🔹 Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in an Eye Care Hospital/Ophthalmology setup will be preferred.
- Experience in patient counselling, TPA, insurance or billing processes is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Government healthcare schemes will be preferred.
- Freshers with good communication and counselling skills are also encouraged to apply.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Counsel patients regarding treatment plans, surgeries and procedures.
- Explain billing, insurance claims and applicable healthcare schemes.
- Coordinate with doctors, optometrists and other hospital departments.
- Handle patient queries and documentation professionally.
- Support patients with the required information throughout their treatment.
- Ensure a smooth patient journey from consultation to treatment and follow-up.
- Maintain a compassionate, patient-focused and professional approach at all times.
🔹 Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
✔️ Excellent communication and counselling skills
✔️ Strong patient-handling abilities
✔️ Good understanding of hospital processes
✔️ Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
✔️ Professional and empathetic approach
✔️ Experience in an eye-care/ophthalmology environment will be an added advantage
✔️ Freshers with the right attitude and willingness to learn are welcome
