Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patent Specialist based in Gurgaon. The selected candidate will manage the preparation and filing of patent applications, work on patent prosecution processes, and ensure compliance with relevant patent laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patentability, drafting and reviewing patent documents, and liaising with legal teams and regulatory authorities to protect intellectual property in the field of agrochemicals. The Patent Specialist will play a critical role in safeguarding the company's innovations and competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Patent Applications and Patent Preparation
- Solid understanding of Patent Law and Patent Prosecution processes
- Ability to assess Patentability and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and legal research skills
- Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Agrochemicals or relevant Technical or legal field
- Work experience in intellectual property, particularly in the agrochemical or life sciences sector, is a plus
