🚀 We’re Hiring | IP & Patent Manager
📍 Location: Mumbai (Preferred) / Hybrid
💼 Experience: 3–8 Years

Ubiqedge is building an AIoT platform across IoT hardware, embedded systems, cloud software, AI, and industrial data platforms. We are looking for an IP & Patent Manager who can build and drive our patent engine — from identifying innovations to securing valuable patents.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular invention mining sessions with engineering and product teams.
- Identify patentable innovations across hardware, firmware, software, AI, connectivity, and industrial applications.
- Conduct prior-art and patentability searches.
- Prepare invention disclosures, patent drafts, claims, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with external patent attorneys throughout filing, prosecution, and grant.
- Manage the company's patent portfolio, timelines, renewals, and IP documentation.
- Track competitor patents, technology trends, and white-space opportunities.
- Build internal IP processes, templates, and patent creation practices.
- Work closely with the CEO, CTO, engineering, product, and R&D teams to identify and protect innovations.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in patent drafting, IP management, or technology innovation.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and research skills.
- Ability to understand and translate complex engineering concepts into patentable innovations.
- Patent Agent qualification or experience with patent prosecution will be an added advantage.
