About the role
We invite proposals for selection of an open-access, free, mobile-friendly platform for self-paced online course and development of an interactive online course with 9 modules that meets the following criteria:
1. Course Structure and Content
Customise Patang's existing Odia curriculum to be offered online in multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
Review existing Gender Champion course curriculum to suggest and align on areas of improvement in consultation with Patang.
Update course structure and design engaging and interactive course content, suited for a diverse audience, especially university students and youth.
Customize existing Odia curriculum to be offered online in multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. Proposal should include development of the course in English and cost of building it in 2 other Indian languages.
Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, infographics, quizzes, and discussion forums to enhance learning and reflection.
Ensure culturally relevant examples and materials, in close consultation with Patang, to resonate with the lived experiences of learners.
Technology and Platform
Research and identify an open-access, free, mobile friendly platform for hosting the course.
The platform should support multiple languages and be compatible with low-bandwidth environments.
Ensure the platform is mobile-friendly and can be accessed via smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
Provide options for offline accessibility where possible.
3. User Experience and Accessibility
The course should be intuitive and easy to navigate for users of all digital literacy levels.
Incorporate accessibility features such as subtitles, text-to-speech options, and screen reader compatibility, including people with visual impairment.
Ensure a responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and devices.
4. Implementation and Support
Work closely with Patang's team to finalize course content and design.
Provide user training or a brief onboarding guide for first-time users.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting during the project duration
