Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef based in Vadodara. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, designing, and decorating a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and confectionery. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Collaboration with the team to develop new and creative recipes will be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, pastry preparation, and decoration
- Expertise in recipe development, flavor combinations, and creative dessert presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, ingredient quality standards, and kitchen hygiene practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Formal culinary training or certification in baking and pastry arts is preferred
- Passion for innovating within the pastry and dessert industry
- Physical stamina to handle long shifts and maintain productivity in a fast-paced kitchen
