Role Description
This full-time, on-site Pastry Chef role is based in Bengaluru. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Additional key activities include menu planning for bakery items, ensuring food preparation aligns with high culinary standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and monitoring food inventory and supplies. The role also involves collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative offerings while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Bakery, Baking, and Food Preparation techniques
- Strong skills in Cooking and general Culinary expertise
- An eye for detail and aesthetics in presenting pastries and desserts
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and quality control
- Experience in preparing a wide variety of desserts, including custom orders
- Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Background in a culinary arts program or equivalent work experience in pastry arts
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement in pastry creations
