As a Lead Frontend Developer at Pascal, you will be responsible for leading our dedicated software team and shape the development of innovative audio products. You will:
- Own the architecture and direction of our frontend platforms – including both web-based and desktop applications (Electron, Tauri or similar).
- Lead and mentor a growing team of frontend developers, guiding best practices and clean code principles.
- Design, develop and maintain frontend applications used for configuring and monitoring advanced audio equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UX/UI designers, embedded developers, and product management.
- Optimize performance and ensure seamless user experiences across platforms.
- Drive CI/CD and test automation practices in the frontend domain.
- Contribute to our agile (Scrum) process in a tight-knit, fast-moving team.
You will bring:
- A proven track record of frontend leadership, including team mentoring, tech roadmap responsibility, and high-quality releases.
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with a focus on productized software (not just websites).
- Experience with desktop applications built using web technologies, such as Electron, Tauri, or similar.
- Solid experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, HTML/CSS, and related tooling.
- Passion for building robust, user-friendly, and scalable applications.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- A collaborative mindset and an optimistic, proactive approach.
Even better if you…
- Have experience in professional audio, PA equipment, or music software.
- Are familiar with App Store guidelines, cross-platform UX, or mobile/responsive design.
- Can script in Python or have experience with Rust or Docker.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines, test automation, or configuration management.
- Are a strong communicator who actively shares learnings and encourages team growth.
