Role Description The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department at the Anekal facility in an on-site, full-time capacity. This role includes managing parts inventory, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely ordering and replenishment to support service and repair activities. The Parts Manager will coordinate with service teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate parts availability and efficient workflow. Additional responsibilities include maintaining organized storage areas, managing parts documentation, preparing reports, and implementing cost-control measures. The role also involves supervising parts staff, enforcing safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement in parts management processes.
Qualifications
- Strong inventory management and stock control skills, with experience in tracking, ordering, and replenishing automotive parts.
- Proficiency in using parts management or ERP systems, along with basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
- Knowledge of automotive components and terminology, with the ability to identify parts, interpret catalogs, and work closely with service technicians.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a well-structured warehouse or storage area.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with suppliers, internal teams, and customers in a professional manner.
- Experience in supervising or leading a small team, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and training support.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in billing, documentation, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Relevant experience in automotive parts management or a similar role; a diploma or degree in automotive, logistics, or business management is beneficial.
