We’re a fast-growing fintech company focused on simplifying cross-border payments and financial services for the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community. Our platform enables NRIs in the U.S. to send money, pay bills, and support their families in India with speed, transparency, and trust.
We’re expanding our presence across the U.S. NRI ecosystem — including businesses, media, universities, community events, and digital influencers — and are looking for a dynamic Partnerships Manager to lead these growth initiatives.
Role Overview
The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships across digital platforms, communities, and organizations that directly influence the NRI audience in the U.S.
You will own end-to-end relationship management with partner organizations, media and affiliate networks (like CompareRemit, community sites, etc.), influencers, and local event organizations to drive brand awareness, user sign-ups, and transactions.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys business development, cross-cultural marketing, and event execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnerships & Affiliate Growth
- Identify and onboard partnership opportunities with fintech comparison platforms (e.g., CompareRemit.com), Indian community media outlets, and complementary fintechs or financial platforms like MyPursu.com, iNRI.com etc.,.
- Negotiate and manage joint marketing campaigns, co-branding, content collaborations, and affiliate programs to drive measurable customer acquisition.
- Track partnership performance and ROI, ensuring collaborations deliver both brand exposure and user growth.
2. Community & Organizational Outreach
- Build relationships with Indian community organizations across U.S. cities — including cultural, religious, business, and non-profit associations.
- Develop sponsorship plans for community events, festivals, and local gatherings to promote the brand on-ground through booths, giveaways, and live demos.
- Manage logistics, vendor coordination, and event marketing materials to ensure seamless execution.
3. University & Student Engagement
- Partner with Indian student associations at U.S. universities to design localized campus marketing campaigns and referral programs.
- Recruit and manage part-time campus ambassadors and event staff to represent the brand at local events.
4. Influencer & Digital Creator Management
- Develop and own the influencer marketing program end-to-end — including discovering relevant Indian-American creators across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Negotiate collaborations, manage posting schedules, ensure FTC compliance, track engagement analytics, and process partnership payments.
- Continuously optimize influencer strategy to enhance brand trust and organic community reach.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the growth, creative, and product teams to align campaign messaging, partnership deliverables, and data tracking.
- Provide insights from partnership feedback to influence marketing strategy and feature development.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in partnerships, marketing, or business development roles, preferably in fintech, remittance, or consumer tech sectors.
- Strong understanding of the NRI/Indian diaspora market in the U.S. — cultural familiarity and community connections are a plus.
- Proven record of establishing successful partnerships or influencer campaigns that drove business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to multitask across strategic and operational priorities (partner meetings, event logistics, budget management).
- Comfortable using marketing tools (CRM, email automation, social analytics, affiliate tracking software).
Preferred Background
- Prior experience working with CompareRemit, MoneyTransferComparison, or similar affiliate marketing networks.
- Established network among Indian community leaders or organizations in the U.S.
- Experience managing sponsorships and regional event campaigns.
- Experience managing Influencer marketing initiatives
- Knowledge of remittance, payments, or banking industry regulations a strong plus.
