Partnerships Manager – Merchant Offers
About The Role
This is a Partnerships Manager role responsible for driving and expanding Xoxoday’s merchant partner ecosystem across India, UAE, and SEA markets for banking and enterprise clients.
The role will manage end-to-end merchant partnerships — from onboarding and commercial coordination to offer execution, operational delivery, and partner performance management. You will work closely with banks, card networks, enterprise clients, product, operations, and growth teams to support and scale high-impact merchant-funded offer programs across dining, food, travel, entertainment, lifestyle, wellness, and services.
This is a hands-on execution and stakeholder management role requiring strong partnership management skills, operational rigor, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Partner Onboarding & Ecosystem Management
- Drive onboarding of merchant partners across India, UAE, and SEA markets.
- Build and manage merchant relationships across categories including dining, food delivery, travel, hotels, entertainment, lifestyle, wellness, and services.
- Coordinate onboarding activities including KYB, commercials, SLAs, API/catalog readiness, offer setup, and operational readiness.
- Ensure merchant adherence to compliance, reporting, and delivery standards required for banking and enterprise programs.
- Banking & Card Offer Program Execution
- Drive execution of merchant-funded offer programs for cards and enterprise rewards across multiple markets.
- Work on card-linked constructs including BIN-based, MCC-based, spend-based, Offline offers and campaign-led offers.
- Coordinate end-to-end offer launches, renewals, and partner communication.
- Ensure offer accuracy, T&Cs alignment, redemption tracking, and issue resolution.
- Commercial Coordination & Revenue Optimization
- Support commercial discussions including funding, revenue share, and campaign commercials.
- Work with internal teams to structure seasonal, bundled, and card-tier-based offers.
- Track offer performance, redemption trends, campaign ROI, and partner utilization metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve utilization and commercial outcomes.
- Stakeholder & Team Management
- Collaborate with internal partnerships, operations, growth, product, and regional teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Own defined onboarding, utilization, and revenue targets.
- Maintain dashboards, reporting cadence, and performance reviews.
- Support process improvements and operational scalability initiatives.
- Offer Operations & Governance
- Ensure timely launch and smooth execution of merchant offers.
- Follow defined SOPs for onboarding, campaign launches, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for escalations and operational fixes.
- Maintain high standards of delivery reliability and merchant responsiveness.
- Merchant Training & Enablement
- Educate merchants on offer mechanics, redemption journeys, and customer experience expectations.
- Ensure awareness of SLA requirements and operational processes.
- Support rollout of onboarding and training materials for partners.
- Quality Assurance & Merchant Performance
- Support mystery audit and quality check initiatives.
- Monitor merchant performance and customer experience metrics.
- Identify improvement areas and work with merchants on corrective actions.
- Support optimization of the active merchant portfolio.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of merchant partnerships, offers, loyalty ecosystems, or banking-led merchant programs.
- Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong operational and program management capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional execution across multiple geographies.
- Understanding of banking, enterprise rewards, or card-linked offer ecosystems is preferred.
- Willingness to travel international
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in partnerships, merchant programs, banking offers, loyalty, fintech, or related ecosystems.
- Prior experience working with banks, fintechs, aggregators, loyalty platforms, or enterprise rewards ecosystems preferred.
- Experience across India, UAE, or SEA markets will be an added advantage.
