What It's About
In this position you will work in the Private Equity Direct Investment team and take part in all aspects of control and control-oriented private equity investments across a range of transaction sizes and industries.
Responsibilities
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis on prospective direct equity investments in India
- Assist in preparing Investment Committee papers for, and attend Investment Committee meetings on a regular basis
- Assist in transaction due diligence work-streams, including financial, commercial, legal, tax, etc
- Participate in meetings with current and prospective target companies as well as on-site visits etc
- Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, and marketing efforts
What We Expect
- Excellent academic credentials, with coursework emphasis on Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, and/or Engineering
- Recent graduates and professionals with up to 3 ears of work experience in a corporate finance (e.g. private equity, investment banking, investment management) or management consulting function
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Modelling and valuation skills, with a thorough knowledge of Excel
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
- Fluency in oral / written English essential (additional language capabilities are desirable)
