Role Description:
As a Chartered Accountant Partner, you'll spearhead positive relationships with both clients & teams, and growth of Corporate Finance Advisory Practice of the Firm. This role carries full accountability for origination, execution and delivery across a portfolio of mandates - spanning mergers and acquisitions, transaction tax and regulatory advisory, investment banking mandates, valuations, and comprehensive due diligence engagements.
Responsibilities:
πΉ Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates.
πΉ Drive and oversee Financial Due Diligence (FDD) engagements across industries.
πΉ Perform and review complex business valuations using appropriate methodologies.
πΉ Build, manage, and strengthen client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
πΉ Lead business development initiatives and contribute to revenue growth.
πΉ Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and strategic expansion areas.
πΉ Structure deals and provide insights on financial modeling & transaction structuring.
πΉ Collaborate with leadership on strategy planning and execution.
πΉ Mentor, manage, and develop high-performing teams.
πΉ Oversee preparation and review of MIS reports, financial analysis & presentations.
πΉ Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the function.
πΉ Liaise with external stakeholders including investors, legal advisors, and consultants.
Qualifications & Attributes:
π CA with 15+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance / Transaction / Deal Advisory.
π Proven track record of independently originating & executing high-value M&A & advisory mandates.
βοΈ Strong experience in transaction tax structuring & regulatory advisory
.π Deep expertise in valuations across multiple methodologies & regulatory frameworks
.π€ Experience managing external stakeholders including legal counsel, regulators, auditors, etc
