Role Description:
As a Chartered Accountant Partner, you'll spearhead positive relationships with both clients & teams, and growth of Corporate Finance Advisory Practice of the Firm. This role carries full accountability for origination, execution and delivery across a portfolio of mandates - spanning mergers and acquisitions, transaction tax and regulatory advisory, investment banking mandates, valuations, and comprehensive due diligence engagements.
Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates.
🔹 Drive and oversee Financial Due Diligence (FDD) engagements across industries.
🔹 Perform and review complex business valuations using appropriate methodologies.
🔹 Build, manage, and strengthen client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
🔹 Lead business development initiatives and contribute to revenue growth.
🔹 Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and strategic expansion areas.
🔹 Structure deals and provide insights on financial modeling & transaction structuring.
🔹 Collaborate with leadership on strategy planning and execution.
🔹 Mentor, manage, and develop high-performing teams.
🔹 Oversee preparation and review of MIS reports, financial analysis & presentations.
🔹 Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the function.
🔹 Liaise with external stakeholders including investors, legal advisors, and consultants.
Qualifications & Attributes:
🎓 CA with 15+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance / Transaction / Deal Advisory.
🚀 Proven track record of independently originating & executing high-value M&A & advisory mandates.
⚖️ Strong experience in transaction tax structuring & regulatory advisory
.📊 Deep expertise in valuations across multiple methodologies & regulatory frameworks
.🤝 Experience managing external stakeholders including legal counsel, regulators, auditors, etc
