Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in mechanical design and engineering, with a focus on utilizing Solidworks for CAD work. The role requires proficiency in GD&T and sheet metal design, along with experience in PLM tools such as Enovia. The successful candidates will contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Solidworks (deal breaker skill).
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Experience in sheet metal design.
- Familiarity with CAD work.
- Proficient in Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Enovia or other PLM tools is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of additional CAD software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using Solidworks.
- Utilize GD&T principles to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Engage in sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with product development teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Document design processes and maintain accurate records in PLM systems.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE or BTech) is required.
