About the Role
We are building a trusted tele-veterinary consultation service that enables pet parents to access timely, professional veterinary guidance remotely. As a Tele-Veterinary Doctor, you will provide phone/video consultations for cats and dogs, helping pet owners make informed decisions about their pet’s health while ensuring appropriate clinical escalation when required.
This role is fully remote, highly flexible, and compensated on a per-consultation commission basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote veterinary consultations via phone or video for cats and dogs
- Assess symptoms, provide preliminary clinical guidance, and recommend next steps
- Educate pet parents on home care, preventive measures, and warning signs
- Identify cases that require in-person examination and escalate appropriately
- Maintain clear, accurate case notes and consultation documentation
- Adhere to veterinary ethics, telemedicine guidelines, and platform SOPs
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc / BVSc & AH or equivalent)
- Valid veterinary registration with the relevant state council
- Prior clinical experience treating small animals (cats and dogs)
- Comfort and confidence in delivering consultations remotely
- Basic proficiency with digital tools (video calls, case logging systems)
Work Structure
- Part-time, remote role
- On-call / flexible hours (slot-based or availability-based)
- Commission-based compensation per completed consultation
- No fixed location requirement – work from anywhere
