Job Description: Part-Time Consultant Microbiologist

Location: Kengeri, Bangalore
Employment Type: Part-Time
Working Hours: 4 hours per day – Evening Shift
Qualification
- MD / DNB in Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate microbiology test results and diagnostic reports.
- Provide expert guidance on microbiological investigations and interpretation of results.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of microbiology reporting.
- Monitor adherence to laboratory SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support quality control activities and troubleshooting of microbiology-related issues.
- Coordinate with laboratory technicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve technical queries.
- Ensure timely and reliable reporting while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of clinical microbiology and diagnostic procedures.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality standards and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with laboratory teams.
