Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Psychologist & Caseworker to work with children aged 4–15 years in a children’s home. The role focuses on trauma-informed care, emotional wellbeing, and holistic development through structured therapeutic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1) Conduct basic assessments to understand emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of each child.
2) Provide individual and group counseling using age-appropriate approaches such as play therapy, art therapy, and behavioral techniques.
3) Develop and implement simple, practical Individual Care Plans (ICP) for each child, tracking emotional and behavioral progress.
4) Maintain concise session notes, track progress, and ensure ethical and confidential record-keeping.
5) Identify learning or behavioral gaps and guide children with basic strategies for focus, confidence, and social interaction.
6) Support mental health workshops, life skills sessions, and therapeutic activities that promote resilience and emotional expression.

1) Strong foundation in child psychology and trauma-informed care
2) Skills in counseling, play/art therapy, and behavioral support
3) High levels of empathy, patience, and emotional sensitivity
4) Good communication and documentation skills
