Job description
IDEAglobal — a provider of international financial market research — is seeking a part time economist to be based in India, starting as soon as possible. The focus is on the Asia/Eurozone and UK economies. Knowledge of financial markets would be desirable but is not a prerequisite (training will be provided as necessary). This is a part-time role requiring 4-4.5 hours per day (Monday-Friday). This would be an ideal role for a junior analyst or a semi-retirement role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and summarise economic, policy and political news in real-time
* Write timely market comments on the latest key developments
