LEADERSHIP Parspec is helmed by technologists and construction supply chain veterans with a common passion to digitally transform our industry: ROLE SUMMARY As an early member of the engineering team, you will play a key role in developing the core software and also maintaining & upholding the culture of brilliance in our tightly-knit organization. You will: - Develop and maintain data pipelines that are at the core of empowering the product's discovery and AI search capabilities. - Participate in the transformation of our product into a robust, distributed, and scalable web application that is on par with the best tech products available in the market today. - Develop high-quality software across all applications of the product. - Indulge in the full product design, development, and deployment cycle by working closely with the business, product, and engineering teams. WHO YOU ARE You have at least 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer and are eager to contribute to innovative projects. You're looking for a challenging opportunity to develop and scale cutting-edge products while growing your skills in a dynamic environment. WHAT DOES YOUR ARSENAL LOOK LIKE Required - Software development experience with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as a demonstrated passion for technology. - Experience working with cross-functional teams working towards end-to-end web-app deployment, including concept to code transformation, integration with existing services, infrastructure design, development of testing modules, integration with customer feedback, and support. - Knowledge of Python or equivalent object-oriented languages, coupled with design and SOA. - Experience in at least one shell scripting language, SQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and data modeling skills. - Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on specifications. - Experience leading an initiative from concept to operation, navigating all stages and roadblocks on the way.
