Sydney Metro & Parklife JV is seeking Data Analyst to become a crucial part of our team on this major project!
Skill Requirements:
Proficiency in Power BI: Advanced -Demonstrated expertise in using Power BI to analyze and visualize construction data effectively, Microsoft Products and PowerPoint. (Very important)
Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex construction data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Database Management: Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database) to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis in Power BI.
Data Visualization: Ability to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with other data analysis tools and programming languages commonly used in construction data analysis, such as Advanced Excel, Python. (Very important)
Construction Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and data sources to contextualize and interpret construction-related data accurately.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify data-related challenges in construction projects and develop innovative solutions using Power BI.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability in analysis and reporting. (Very important)
Project Management: Experience managing data analysis projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI and data analysis techniques to enhance skills and improve efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other analysts, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and drive data-driven decision-making in construction projects.

Knowledge of programming and data manipulation: Data analysts often work with large datasets, requiring proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and SQL.
