<div>Location: Park Schools Montessori<br>Position Type: On-Call / As Needed<br><br><strong>About the Role:</strong><br><br>Park Schools Montessori is seeking reliable and flexible Substitute Teachers who can step in on an as-needed basis to support our classrooms. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and can quickly adapt to different classroom environments while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Step in for absent teachers and follow provided lesson plans or classroom routines</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, calm, and engaging classroom environment</li>
<li>Supervise and support children in daily activities, including learning, play, and transitions</li>
<li>Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance and redirection</li>
<li>Ensure the well-being and safety of all students at all times</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with school staff regarding classroom updates or concerns</li>
<li>Assist with basic classroom organization and clean-up</li>
</ul><div>
<br><strong>Requirements:</strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Experience working with young children (preferred)</li>
<li>Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups (infants to 6 years old)</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and classroom procedures</li>
<li>Must be dependable and available on short notice when needed</li>

<br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Background in Early Childhood Education or a related field</li>
<li>Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience</li>
<li>Familiarity with Montessori principles (a plus, but not required)</li>

<li>Hours may vary depending on staffing needs</li>
