Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Paravet based in New Delhi. The Paravet will assist veterinarians in providing medical care, administer basic health treatments, monitor the health of animals, and support grooming services in alignment with the high standards of The Pet Point. The technician will also assist in maintaining the pet pharmacy, educating pet owners about their pets' health needs, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both pets and customers.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in veterinary assistance, basic health treatments, and knowledge of animal care protocols
- Skills in communicating with pet owners, educating them on pet health, and providing excellent customer support
- Ability to assist in grooming pets, maintaining hygiene standards, and collaborating with veterinarians and salon staff
- Strong organizational skills and capability to maintain the in-built pharmacy and inventory for pet supplies
- Passion for animal welfare, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
- Relevant certification, degree, or prior experience in veterinary assistance or animal care
- Familiarity with pet nutrition and various pet products is an advantage
