Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Paravet at a pet hospital. The Paravet will be responsible for assisting veterinarians in providing medical care to animals, overseeing the well-being and management of pets at the hospital, administering medications, observing and reporting animal behavior and health conditions, and conducting basic diagnostic tests. The role also includes educating pet owners about animal health and wellness and ensuring a clean, safe environment for animals and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience in animal care, including handling, feeding, and administering medications
- Basic clinical and diagnostic skills such as conducting health evaluations and first aid
- Strong observational, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for animals and staff
- A diploma or certification in veterinary practices, animal sciences, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic, pet hospital, or similar setting is a plus
- Passion for animal welfare and a compassionate nature
