<strong>About the Opportunity:</strong><br> Paramount Home Health Care is currently seeking a <strong>dedicated, experienced Pediatric Caregiver</strong> to support a <strong>21-year-old young man with autism</strong> in a home setting in Tampa, Florida. While the client is a young adult, the care approach aligns closely with <strong>pediatric-style support</strong>, requiring patience, structure, and strong behavioral guidance skills.<br><br>
</div><div>We are <strong>preferably seeking a male caregiver</strong> for compatibility; however, <strong>female caregivers with a strong personality and proven experience managing behavioral challenges</strong> are strongly encouraged to apply.<br><br>

<strong>What You’ll Do:</strong><br> In this role, you will provide hands-on support while promoting independence, safety, and emotional stability in a structured environment. Duties include:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Assisting with <strong>Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)</strong> including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene </li>
<li> Providing <strong>behavioral support, redirection, and de-escalation techniques</strong> when needed </li>
<li> Implementing <strong>structured routines and engaging activities</strong> appropriate for autism care </li>
<li> Supporting <strong>meal preparation and feeding assistance if required</strong>
</li>
<li> Completing <strong>light housekeeping tasks</strong> related to the client’s care </li>
<li> Maintaining a <strong>calm, safe, and respectful environment at all times</strong>
</li>
<li> Encouraging <strong>positive interactions and communication development</strong>
</li>

<strong>What We’re Looking For:<br></strong><br>

<li><strong>Experience with pediatric care, autism, or behavioral clients is REQUIRED</strong></li>
<li> Strong ability to stay <strong>calm, patient, and assertive</strong> in challenging situations </li>

<li> Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistency </li>
<li> Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented </li>
<li> Ability to follow care plans and document services accurately </li>
