<div><strong>Job description:</strong></div><div><strong>Paragon Home Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced Hindi-speaking senior caregiver to support a client with advanced dementia living in Lorton Virginia! Seeking 1 or 2 caregivers to do schedule Monday-Sunday 9am-1pm and possibly 5pm-9pm. </strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Client Overview</strong></div><ul>
<li>79-year-old female with <strong>moderate to advanced dementia</strong> (Lewy Body & Alzheimer’s)</li>
<li>Experiences <strong>delusions and confusion</strong>, especially when alone with spouse</li>
<li>Requires <strong>continence care (bowel & bladder)</strong>
</li>
<li>Occasional <strong>wandering behaviors</strong>
</li>
<li>Currently living with family; transitioning to a long-term living arrangement</li>
</ul><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>Assist with <strong>personal care</strong> (toileting, bathing, hygiene)</li>
<li>
<strong>Actively engage the client</strong> through conversation, connection, and simple activities</li>
<li>Provide <strong>continence care</strong> (must be comfortable with both bowel & bladder)</li>
<li>Support with <strong>meal preparation and feeding</strong>
</li>
<li>Provide <strong>companionship and redirection</strong> during confusion or delusions</li>
<li>Ensure <strong>client safety</strong>, including monitoring for wandering</li>
<li>Follow care plan and communicate updates to the office</li>
</ul><div><strong>Requirements</strong></div><ul>
<li><strong>Fluent in Hindi (required)</strong></li>
<li>
<strong>2+ years of caregiving experience</strong>, preferably with dementia</li>
<li>Experience with <strong>Lewy Body Dementia or advanced Alzheimer’s strongly preferred</strong>
</li>
<li>Comfortable with <strong>hands-on care and incontinence</strong>
</li>
<li>Patient, calm, and able to manage <strong>behavioral challenges</strong>
</li>
<li>Reliable transportation</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the U.S.</li>

<li>Previous caregiving experience or in a similar role is preferred, but not required</li>
<li>PCA/HHA/ or CNA certification (preferred, but not required)</li>
<li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and speak English</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the U.S.</li>
<li>Current TB/PPD test</li>
<li>Must pass a background check</li>
