Reports to: Manager, Comp & Data

Purpose

The Human Resources Data Analyst supports HR departmental reporting, systems and HRIS functionality in an ADP WorkforceNow environment. This role drives system enhancement implementation, ensures accuracy in data reporting in and between platforms, and provides guidance to end users. This position communicates with other HR Team members and drives improvements to HR systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provides regular and ad-hoc reporting as needed to support HR functions, RFPs, auditing, compliance, and other organizational needs.
  • Supports HR processes, systems and reporting by advising on process improvements within ADP WorkforceNow HRIS and integrated vendor software with the Manager, Director, and appropriate HR Team members.
  • Supports HR team members and end users in ADP and HR SharePoint pages functionality, reporting and forms, escalating to the Manager as needed.
  • Updates and maintains HRIS employee profiles, and completes documentation of promotions, transfers and demotions as recorded by supervisors in SharePoint.
  • Conducts internal HR audits to ensure the integrity of onboarding information, job changes, assignment of policies, job families, FLSA status, etc., and ensures alignment with Finance or Payroll records.
  • In coordination with operations, completes monthly team cost allocations and funded assignments in the HRIS for review and use by FPA and Payroll.
  • Provides direct support on HRIS and data management around performance management, merit increases and bonuses.
  • Maintains the PANTHERx organizational chart on a monthly or as needed basis.
  • Develops HR forms in ADP HRIS, SharePoint, and other systems as HR goals and business needs require, coordinating with the Manager as needed.
  • Assists with the implementation of expanded HRIS functionality and ensures integration with other internal and external systems in collaboration with team members.
  • Acts as a first point of contact and training for user guidance and advice. Responds to queries and issues related to the HRIS, analyzing the issue to identify the root cause, or escalating as needed.
  • May at times be responsible for facilitating training and creating supporting materials, as coordinated with or directed by Manager
  • Performs other duties as requested and as circumstances drive department obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area and minimum of two (2) years of related HRIS experience, or comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use MS Office suite, including advanced level Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; ADP WorkforceNow or comparable HRIS required.
  • Strong creative, analytical and problem-solving skills required; takes a practical approach to solving issues and gaining stakeholder agreement.
  • Excellent customer service focus and experience.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in multiple systems simultaneously while managing and prioritizing deadlines
  • Proven ability to work effectively in diverse work teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP professional certifications.

Work Environment

This position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading, or working with various forms of data on a screen for extended periods.
