About the role
- MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To provide support by operating various machines and equipment, in a safe and productive manner.
- KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Cut, sort, and pack molded parts at the molding machine
- Inspect molded parts before packing
- Assemble molded parts or insert metal castings
- Label cartons and place properly on pallets
- Chop scrap runners, and rejected parts
- Monitor and fill material hoppers/bins
- Count parts, pack bulk sacks, and pack boxes offline
- Clean, sweep, and remove trash as needed
- Remove parts from the molds
- Complete water treatment of molded parts
- Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned

- SKILLS NEEDED
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Self-starter that is able to work in an independent manner.
- Ability to communicate and comprehend the English language, both verbally and written.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods of time.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and measuring equipment.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends/developments in Quality, Safety, and Environmental practices through regular formal training.
Primary measures of successful performance will be:
- Meets productivity standards, and identifies and resolves problems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintaining ISO certifications.
- Receive zero notices of violation or administrative consent orders regarding environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.
