Description
At Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, we are committed to creating exceptional experiences for every guests we encounter. We are seeking a motivated and professional Front Office Intern to support our Guest Services team at our world-class resort. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in resort front desk operations, guest engagement, and hospitality service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner.
- Support the check-in and check-out process to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Help prepare check-in packets for incoming reservations.
- Assist with reservation support and coordination as needed.
- Ensure the integrity and readiness of rental units by reporting and helping address issues in a timely manner.
- Accurately post and verify guest charges and payments.
- Support management with the implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth front office operations.
- Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must have previous customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assist guests effectively.
- Basic knowledge or interest in front desk operations, reservations, and hospitality services; familiarity with housekeeping processes is a plus.
- Availability to work some weekends preferred.
