Job Summary
We are hiring skilled Painter cum Polishers for a luxury five-star hotel property in Mumbai. The role requires strong finishing standards, attention to detail, and prior experience working in hotel or premium hospitality environments where aesthetics, cleanliness, and guest comfort are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out painting, polishing, touch-up, putty, primer, sanding, and finishing work across guest areas, backof-house areas, and service zones.
- Prepare surfaces properly before paint or polish application to ensure smooth, durable, high-quality finishes.
- Handle wood polishing, laminate touch-up, wall repairs, patchwork, and minor surface restoration as required.
- Identify peeling paint, cracks, damp patches, uneven finishes, or damaged surfaces and recommend corrective action.
- Use tools, ladders, materials, and consumables safely while following site safety and housekeeping standards.
- Complete jobs with minimum disturbance to hotel operations and maintain a neat work area after completion.
- Coordinate with engineering, housekeeping, and hotel operations teams for timely completion of work.
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI or Diploma in relevant trade preferred.
- Hotel experience is mandatory.
- Experience in luxury hotel, premium residential, or high-end commercial properties will be preferred.
- Good understanding of painting materials, polishing methods, surface preparation, and finishing quality.
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is mandatory.
- Freshers, trainees, or apprenticeship candidates may also be considered for trainee-level roles.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Good communication, discipline, and professional conduct suitable for a luxury hospitality environment.
- Ability to work in a team and respond to maintenance issues within required timelines.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
