Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Paint Artist. The Paint Artist will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality paint work, including background preparation, cleanup tasks, wire and marker removal, and ensuring seamless integration into visual effects shots. The role involves working closely with a global team of VFX professionals, adhering to deadlines, and maintaining high standards of precision and creativity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Paint, BG Prep, Cleanup, and Wire/Marker Removal techniques
- Experience with Rotoscopy and Chroma Keying is a strong asset
- Familiarity with software tools such as Nuke, Silhouette, or related VFX applications
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Capability to collaborate with a global team and work remotely
- Experience in a professional VFX production environment is preferred
- A degree or diploma in Visual Effects, Animation, or a related discipline is a plus
