About the role

This position is responsible for analytical testing with established methodology for laboratory sample related to product development/R&D (i.e. stability, raw material, bulk, finished product, minor studies) per cGLP and cGMP documentation guidelines. The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of those required on the job. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrates ability to independently and accurately complete routine and non-routine laboratory analyses
  • Ability to support execution of and assist in developing procedures of laboratory investigations
  • Under general supervision, demonstrates proficiency in generating basic protocols and reports and executing analytical method validation
  • Assists in troubleshooting OOS/OOT/Aberrant results
  • Support other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks 
  • Ability to take direction from senior team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative in learning new skills and concepts

Education and Experience:

  • BS + 2 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficient understanding of knowledge areas and ability to independently perform Associate Scientist functions, including:
  • cGMP/GLP understanding 
  • working with standard lab equipment, instruments, and processes
  • working principles of major analytical techniques 
  • Knowledgeable of ICH/USP guidelines relating to analytical method validation/verification
