Job details:
ROLE:- PACS Administrator (L2/L3, Technical Owner)
Role Objective:
Own and manage PACS/RIS system configuration, integrations, and advanced troubleshooting across imaging workflows.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of PACS / RIS systems (preferably exposure to RamSoft or similar)
Working knowledge of DICOM protocol
Study lifecycle (C-STORE, C-FIND, C-MOVE)
Modality workflows (CT, MRI, USG, X-ray)
Working knowledge of HL7 v2.x
Key segments: OBR, ORU, PID, MSH
Order → Result workflow understanding
Integration & Systems:
Experience with imaging routers / integration engines (e.g., Laurel Bridge, Mirth, etc.)
Understanding of:
Study routing
Accession number consistency
Order-to-image mapping
Troubleshooting & Debugging:
Ability to independently debug:
Missing studies
Study mismatch / duplication
Report delivery failures (HL7 ORU)
Log analysis:
PACS logs
HL7 message logs
DICOM transmission logs
Infrastructure Awareness:
Basic Linux/Windows server understanding
Networking basics:
IP, ports, VPN, latency
Storage concepts (image archives, retention basics)
Operational Awareness:
Understanding of TAT / SLA-driven environments
Ability to monitor study queues and priority workflows (STAT / ROUTINE, etc.)
Experience:
4-8 years in PACS / Radiology IT / Healthcare IT
Prior experience in teleradiology setups is a strong advantage
Willing to work in US time zones/Night shifts
Six days a week ,Rotaional & Night Shifts.( it’s US Process Health Industry 24*7availability)
Disqualifiers:
Only UI-level knowledge of PACS
No exposure to HL7/DICOM
Pure helpdesk / ticketing background without technical depth
