Role Description

This is a Architect role with end-to-end ownership of solution design, customer engagement, and technical leadership across 4G EPC and 5G Packet Core domains.

What You Will Do

• Own end-to-end architecture for Packet Core (EPC & 5GC) solutions
• Engage directly with customers to define requirements and shape solutions
• Lead solution design (HLD/LLD), dimensioning, and architecture decisions
• Drive pre-sales strategy, including RFP/RFI responses and solution positioning
• Define deployment architecture (centralized, distributed, edge, private 5G)
• Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards and industry best practices
• Provide technical leadership to delivery and engineering teams
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders

Core Expertise Required

• Strong architectural knowledge of:
• 4G EPC (MME, SGW, PGW, HSS, PCRF)
• 5G Core (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NRF, UDM)
• Deep understanding of control plane & user plane separation (CUPS)
• Experience in cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Strong knowledge of protocols: GTP, PFCP, Diameter, HTTP/2
• Proven experience in solution design, sizing, and high availability architecture

Qualifications

• 10+ years (with strong Packet Core architecture experience) of proficiency in Solution Architecture and the ability to design scalable and future-ready network solutions
• Experience in Consulting, building trusted relationships, and understanding customer needs
• Knowledge of Software Development and hands-on involvement in solution implementation
• Expertise in Integration and ensuring seamless connectivity between various network components
• Strong understanding of Business Processes, aligning technical solutions with business goals
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience working with 4G/5G technologies is highly desirable
