Job Summary
We are looking for a Packaging Sourcing Executive with 4–5 years of relevant experience in
procurement and vendor management for packaging materials. The candidate will be
responsible for sourcing, cost negotiation, vendor development, and ensuring timely
availability of packaging materials as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure packaging materials (primary & secondary packaging) as per
quality and cost standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and supply
continuity.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost
efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, operations, and warehouse teams for demand planning
and timely procurement.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company specifications.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, contracts, and vendor
agreements.
- Track market trends and raw material price fluctuations to support cost-saving
initiatives.
- Work closely with finance for payment follow-ups and reconciliation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Supply Chain/Procurement preferred).
- 4–5 years of experience in packaging procurement or sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of packaging materials (corrugated boxes, laminates, labels,
flexible packaging, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills.
