About MM Mithaiwala
MM Mithaiwala is a renowned sweets and snacks brand known for delivering premium quality mithai, namkeen, bakery products, and festive gifting experiences. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer who can elevate our product presentation and strengthen our brand identity through innovative packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design attractive, functional, and brand-consistent packaging for sweets, snacks, gifting boxes, festive hampers, and FMCG products.
- Create packaging concepts, mockups, and print-ready artwork for production.
- Work closely with the marketing, production, and vendor teams to ensure packaging quality and feasibility.
- Develop seasonal and festive packaging concepts aligned with brand campaigns.
- Ensure all packaging designs comply with printing, material, and manufacturing specifications.
- Coordinate with printers and packaging vendors for color accuracy and production approvals.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, colors, and visual identity across all packaging formats.
- Stay updated with packaging trends, materials, sustainability practices, and consumer preferences.
- Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in FMCG, food, sweets, bakery, or retail brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing packaging and branding projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW).
- Knowledge of print production, dielines, materials, and packaging processes.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with luxury/festive packaging design will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of consumer packaging psychology and retail shelf appeal.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
- Basic photography or mockup presentation skills are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
